My name is Davie-Blue. I am a certified Therapeutic Play Practitioner, and intuitive somatic counselor.
I’m passionate about our natures, awakening a deeper respect for the preciousness of childhood, and developing the courage and stamina needed to build peaceful communities.
I am from the West Coast of the United States, and live on the Dalmatian Coast of Croatia.
My offerings for grown-ups and children are centered in creative therapeutic modalities which encourage inherent self-healing energy to flourish.
I am a certified mindfulness teacher (Mindful Schools, USA), and practice Therapeutic Play (Play Therapy U.K.). I have a background in women’s health having spent many years as an associate educator in medical schools.
The foundation of my somatic practice is inspired by a diverse lineage. Some of the classes, trainings, relationships and workshops include: Caren Bayer (The Alexander Technique), Kimberly Ann Johnson (Jaguar), Steve Hoskinson (Organic Intelligence), Somatic Experiencing, The People’s Institute for Survival and Beyond, Jenessa Hope and Sylvan Bourgette (The Moonpaper Tent), many teachers and mentors from my childhood of free democratic schooling in Seattle, W.A. (AS#1, The Nova Project), ceremony, ritual, drumming, singing, and dancing as everyday, somatic practices within my family cultures.
I am an actress and performance artist with a background in film and theatre. I studied Performing Arts for Social Change at Scripps College.
Enchanted Children as imagination school was founded in Los Angeles in 2015 and expanded to Split, Croatia with multi-national participants online.
I live by the sea with my husband, our son, and our dog Tonka <3
