Davie-Blue's curiosity in early childhood development and the effects of imagination and mindfulness on the brain + heart are the inspiration for Enchanted Children.
Davie-Blue is an actress and performance artist with over 15 years of experience in dramatic imagination leadership. She is a graduate of Scripps College with a degree in Performing Arts + Activism, Education focus.
In 2007, Davie-Blue wrote her thesis on improvisation and imagination as methods for global community healing. Her thesis included a practicum at the Claremont Community Day School in which previously expelled students participated in an Improv for Empathy curriculum. This study, and through its many iterations, blossomed into what is now Enchanted Children. Davie-Blue has taught her unique form of healing and mindfulness through imagination and play in Seattle, New York and Los Angeles. She works with children and adults, carrying enchantment from preschools to med schools to leadership institutes.
Davie-Blue's Enchanted Children parties are inspired by her time training under the mentorship of Sylvan Bourgette and Jenessa Wight at the renowned Moonpaper Tent Fairy Theatre in Seattle, Washington.
